    Sun Chemical is seeking a full stack developer to join our Global Marketing team. This candidate must be able to work independently or in a team environment and have experience working with remote teams. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and a critical thinker. Possess the ability to manage the development and implementation of code for emails, web pages, landing pages, and mobile web apps as well as test development processes. Assist in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the existing website and global internet marketing strategy.

    Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects that are both technical and commercial in nature. Planning for website design (working with outside agency), campaign support & management, content updates and changes. Identify the most effective way to create digital code for Internet and computer-based software as well as support overall marketing efforts of Sun Chemical. Create and maintain process documentation that encompasses the implementation and maintenance of the Website. Problem solve bugs, break/fixes in current and future website framework, Internet based applications, websites, landing pages and email marketing materials. Candidate should expect to work normal business hours but be willing to work outside of normal business hours on occasion.



    • Performs maintenance & modification of the existing websites and global marketing campaigns as needed due to changes in system or business requirements while adhering to the global corporate brand standards.
    • Project Management - Plans, builds and implements new features and content as required by the business - including marketing, product & program initiatives via landing pages, email campaigns, banners, web applications, video etc. Determines the type of equipment to be used in performing work. Capture functional requirements, create tools, facilitate implementation and test results. This position may average 5-7 projects per month.
    • Implements quality control processes for process building/ code development based Agile development and SCRUM methodology.
    • Curiosity and excitement for new web technologies/techniques with ability to self-teach.
    • Debugging and problem-solving skills as related to maintaining and improving website.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects throughout the day.
    • Experience implementing analytics code and setting up analytic event tracking using various platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manger, Data Studio, etc.)
    •  Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements. Candidate should be able to analyze data collected and make suggestions regarding the most effective way to proceed regarding electronic media marketing and coding. Should be familiar with multiple project management software such as Basecamp, Office 365 and ZOHO.
    •  Ability to work with various levels of management or business unit to provide accurate reporting and analysis of data in a comprehensive manner.

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, web development and or graphic design.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment working with Agile, waterfall and Iterative development methodologies. Candidate should have process development, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL/MySQL, PHP, Word Press, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, familiar with both Windows and Mac platforms, Android and IOS development and CRMs (Salesforce and C4C).
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, web development and or graphic design.
    • In-depth knowledge of internet programming languages including: HTML, Java, JavaScript, PHP, XML, cross browser compatibility, SSL, Flash, X-Code, Eclipse Visual Studio, and proficient in social networking, Google Analytics.
    • Ability to work in a professional group setting as well as independently; highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and complete them on time.
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills required. Candidate should possess strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Minimal travel of less than 5 %
